Dr Bazo Raheem, Bsc. MBBS, MRCP (UK) graduated from Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ Medical school with clinical distinction in 2008 and holds an additional Bsc. degree in Pharmacology. After graduation he completed his general medical training and specialist Neurology training in London. He was first appointed a Consultant Neurologist in 2017 after completing a Clinical Fellowship in Stroke/Neurovascular Medicine.

He joined King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation trust in 2020 as a Consultant to the South East London Tertiary Neurosciences unit where he sees complex and rare cases referred from across the region. He also runs a General Neurology service and sees acutely unwell Neurological patients on the wards, giving the full breadth of Neurological care. His specialist area of interest is Headache Medicine, especially how Headache can be managed with the least possible side effects and disruption to general and overall wellbeing.

Dr Raheem is passionate about personalised care in Neurology and Headache medicine, putting the patient at the centre of his practise.

He is very familiar with the use of more advanced treatments in Migraine Headache. Including nerve blocks, BOTOX treatment and newer advanced treatments (Anti-CGRP drugs) incluidng the Gepants and monoclonal antbody treatments (Ajovy and Aimovig).

Dr Raheem currently sees patients in his private clinics at renowned London hospitals; The London Bridge Hospital, The Wellington Hospital and in the King’s Private Wing, Guthrie Clinic in Denmark Hill.

Dr Raheem is recognised by major insurance companies including BUPA and AXA.
